JYSK Unveils Top Interior Trends for 2025

A canvas for expressing our personal style, and a sanctuary where we can relax and unwind, the demand for our homes to be a functional and stylish space for relaxation, entertaining, and often work, continues. As a result, how we furnish and style our homes continues to evolve as we look for affordable and stylish solutions to update our interiors. Rikke Blaeside, JYSK’s Design and Range Manager, explores the key homeware trends for the year ahead and beyond.

Warm Minimalism

‘Combine simplicity and clean lines, with warm shades and tactile fabrics for the ultimate warm minimalism scheme. Taking the principles of minimalism, but with an emphasis on added cosiness, this trend works brilliantly in bedrooms and living rooms helping to add to the feeling of relaxation, comfort and wellbeing without the distraction of too much colour or clutter. Curved furniture and rounded accessories can help to soften the minimalist feel, while layering Teddy fabrics, brass accents and deep pile rugs with mellow shades of taupe, muted greens and beige will complete the relaxed look and feel.’

Earthy Tones

‘Warm and welcoming, a shift towards deep, earthy shades is gaining traction as consumers look to create a space that is grounding. Look to nature for inspiration, and incorporate shades of rust, olive tones, rich ochres or deep browns to evoke a sense of tranquility at home. We recommend pairing your chosen sun- baked hues with rustic textures and wooden accents for added depth and warmth. From upholstery choices, to paint or well considered accessories, this timeless trend is versatile and works well in abundance for a deep, rich overall look, or can be used sparingly to add a pop of interest to an otherwise neutral or classic scheme.’

Mixed Metals

‘No longer restricted to using one metal across a scheme, 2025 is loosening the reins on rules as we ditch overly matchy schemes and instead embrace mixed metals for a refreshed look with a sophisticated edge. Play with textures and tones, for example pairing brushed and hammered finishes or powder coated metals with polished accents for a balanced and considered scheme. Also play with light and dark to strike a balance and add depth which will result in a layered look.’
