Paint Trends 2025

Victory Colours on the colours leading the way in interior schemes in 2025

Dark shades and earthy tones will dominate interiors, according to new research from eco paint brand Victory Colours.

Using data from Pinterest, Victory Colours found searches for the terms ‘Burgundy Room’, ‘Terracotta Kitchen’, ‘Forest Green Living Room’ and ‘Earthy Bedroom’ soaring over the last month.

The news follows Pantone’s announcement last month which named the espresso shades of Mocha Mousse as its Colour of the Year for 2025.

Victoria Yardley, Founder of Victory Colours, said: “We have seen a move towards warmer, more grounded tones. Browns and taupes are among our most popular hues right now. They are soft and luxurious, nurturing and calming. Not to mention, incredibly versatile too.

“This surge of interest in brown is also encouraging homeowners to explore darker tones, including burgundy and forest greens. There has been a shift away from cool greys as we see homeowners embrace their darker side.”

Victoria advises homeowners who are welcoming earthy or darker tones into the home to incorporate tactile textures, house plants and metallic accents alongside their new paint shades.

Victoria added: “Dark wood flooring and furnishing in shades of walnut and mahogany will complete the look.”

Victory Colours' paints are made from the best raw ingredients and are free from VOCs and toxins.

Paint is also manufactured to order so not only is it fresh but it isn't stored in warehouses.

What's more, all packaging is made from recycled materials or sustainable products such as bamboo.

Victory Colours’ range of eco paints are available now, with prices starting from £44.95 for 2.5-litres of matt emulsion.
