Fashion illustrator, Tony Green, and traditional lampshade makers, Tinker & Tallulah, have launched a collaboration which celebrates the best of British artisans. 

The collection features two handmade fringed lampshades - guaranteed to transform a forgotten corner in the home into a work of art.

Party Hats and Kings & Queens are two illustrations which have been printed in the UK onto luxury velvet. Each lampshade is handcrafted by sewing and stretching the velvet over the frame and decorated with braid and fringing. 

Racheal Millband, Co-Founder of Tinker & Tallulah based in Nottinghamshire said: “We’re putting a contemporary twist onto a traditional craft and we couldn’t be more excited to announce our collaboration with Tony Green. 

“Our fringed lampshades are heirlooms to be enjoyed by generations to come. We are proud to shine a light on British artisans to celebrate the colour and creativity they bring into the world”.

Tony Green added: “It’s fabulous to work with Tinker & Tallulah. We wanted to create something fun, spontaneous and classic. Mixing contemporary print on a vintage base has created something instantly current and stylish.”

The lampshades are priced at £325 and custom designs are available on request. All orders are handmade to order and the lead time is 2-3 weeks.
